We are a well-established, full service health and wellness center providing quality services with exceptional customer service. AMOWC specializes in Weight-loss, Nutrition and Bio-identical Hormones. Dr. Kalin is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is in the process of obtaining his Preceptorship in Anti-Aging Medicine and will be only one of a handful in Florida with his Anti-Aging preceptorship. Dr. Kalin has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. He has obtained Postgraduate Preceptorships in Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Psoriasis. Dr. Kalin is board qualified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has provided ambulatory medical services in the areas of family practice, allergy, minor emergencies, weight-loss, workers’ compensation, and rehabilitation. Dr. Kalin is the author of What’s Up Doc?, a series of essays in which Dr. Kalin answers common questions asked of him with regard to health and medicine during his many years as a family physician.

John Verheul, MD, MPH emigrated as a child with his parents from the Netherlands to spend his formative years in Holland, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate training with honors at Hope College before returning to his native country to graduate Summa cum Laude from medical school at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam in 1984. After obtaining certifications in primary care and occupational medicine in Europe, he completed his residency in Family Practice as Chief Resident at Chesterfield Family Practice Residency Program in 1988. He went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992. Dr. Verheul was voted a “TOP DOC” in Family Medicine by his multispecialty peers as published in the RICHMOND MAGAZINE of April 2010. He is recognized as an authority in the area of Fibromyalgia and muscular pain management. As such, he has spoken at many regional conferences on these topics. He holds an appointment as Associate Clinical Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and regularly teaches both medical students and nurse practitioner students through programs at both VCU and affiliated health programs at the University of Virginia and Eastern Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Verheul enjoys traveling and has done so extensively through his M.P. H. training, having provided volunteer care in Brazil, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe. He is fluent in Dutch, conversant in German and frequently returns to see his extended family in the Netherlands.

Dr. Jassy is a board certified Chiropractor in the states of Virginia and Colorado since 1982 and did his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University where he received his B.A. degree. Dr. Jassy received his doctrine from the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Jassy is an expert in his field due to the amount of study done and the number of patients he has treated. Providing a loving, compassionate, supportive environment to help patients not only regain their health, vitality and youth, but also maintain their health once regained is of utmost importance to Dr. Jassy and his staff of professionals.
